This Time Around

This time around tick-tick
Ticking in my head I have
Little time left to step upTo the contemplate
Re-cycle-analyze
Self statements
Meant to impress
Feeling more terminal
Than second term elected official
Faded memories lack luster
So many dusted days made me old
Before my time – a grandfather
ClockWinding Down
 
This time around try to
Stimulate new growth
Inter-webbed extremities make it easier to tread
Wi-Fi
Digital feels less difficult
New software update available

    It’s a very disjunctive poem which can be interpreted to be esoteric or make people like myself, really think about the meaning behind it. It definitely has an growth throughout the poem though in voice and words.
