everything feels different.
Maybe it’s because I’m older
Experience can be a ruthless teacher,
and hindsight seldom feels good.
At least now there are less surprises.
Worst case scenario isn’t as devastating as it was
for younger me.
I wonder when I say this is my last, “this time around,”
perhaps it might be.
